Who you are

– Excellent understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques and their applications

– Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL

– You are well-versed in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases, and have a deep knowledge of Pandas and NumPy libraries.

– A strong sense of ownership in your work, leading you to find ways to do things better and faster

– Constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to solve complex problems through rigorous experimentation

– Security-minded and always keeping an eye out for potential threats and vulnerabilities in your code

– You know what clean data structures look like, and are committed to best practices for clean data architectures, such as avoiding duplicates, ensuring correctness, and reducing redundancy.

– Your communication style, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence make you a valuable member of any team

– You consistently work in tight collaboration with your teammates

– Always open to feedback, new ideas, and opportunities for self-improvement

– You look for ways to help out beyond the scope of your day-to-day work

Often mistaken for a native English speaker

What you‘ve done

– Mastered statistics and machine learning fundamentals, either in a formal university program or through self-learning

– Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data modeling

– Experience in designing and implementing predictive models and algorithms

– Proven worth in building architecture of large data-driven projects from scratch

– Built a friendship with Git, and related branching friend models (npm, yarn, etc.)

Bonus points

– Strong interest in data-driven decision making

– Knowledge of cloud-based computing services such as AWS, GCP, and Azure

– Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch

– Your knowledge of transformer models would make you stand out.
